A few weeks ago we celebrated Easter, which ended up being more of an Easter weekend, visiting both sides of our family. Though it was a whirlwind, we had a great time with everyone and enjoyed doing things as a "family of three."
I love Easter, especially because it's the day that reminds us that Jesus conquered death, but also because it has come to symbolize new life, springtime, and all things fresh. Will certainly fits in to the whole "new and fresh" theme. 
A little while ago, we decided to start a bedtime routine with Will, even if he was a bit young to really benefit from it. Each night we feed him, give him a bath, lotion him up, dress him in pj's, swaddle him in the Miracle Blanket (thanks, Becky!) and read him a book or three before feeding him again, or "topping off the tank," and laying him down (usually already sleeping) in the crib.
Marc often uses his man-dar (man radar) to find the most manly books he can, including Movers, a book about transportation, and Construction Zone, a book that highlights a variety of heavy machinery. What's wrong with The Runaway Bunny or Love You Forever?
Three months in the grand scheme of a lifespan is not much at all, but when they are your first three months every new facial expression, giggle and coo is something remarkable. On February 26th, our little guy officially turned three months old.
During a recent trip to Grandma and Grampy's house in Western, MA, Will got to take a bath in their kitchen sink and he loved it!
Having a newborn on Christmas is definitely a unique experience. First of all, you get so many more gifts and Christmas cards than you normally would. Second, everyone gives you lots of smiles, hugs and kisses, even the grumpy relatives. Third, it makes Christmas shopping a whole new experience with many difficult obstacles to overcome such as only having a one-hour window of time to do five hours of shopping or attempting to purchase all gifts at just one store so you don't have to put baby back in the car, refold the stroller, drive to a different store, park, unfold the stroller and put baby in the carriage again (you get the picture).
Shortly before Christmas, we all went over to my dad's side of the family to celebrate Amos Family Christmas. We didn't get a lot of photos, sadly, but we did manage to get two great ones.

Our great friends Scarlette and Fred LeBlanc brought their baby girl Amelia over to meet Will, and they hit it off! Amelia was sleepy during the photoshoot, but they made a cute couple nonetheless.
